Ebbtide, Mercury see new faces

Repchuk has been working in the marine industry for more than 12 years. She served as a tour guide/ship's captain and assistant boat manager for Maligne Tours Ltd. She currently works for Dg Marketing as a manufacturer's agent for Zebec Canada Inflatable Boats in addition to her new role as dealer representative for Ebbtide.
Ebbtide has 88 dealers throughout North America-six of them in Canada. Repchuk's goal is to increase that number, specifically in western Canada.
Mercury Marine of Fond du Lac, Wis., has named David Foulkes vice president of research and development, effective Oct. 29. Foulkes will lead Mercury's engineering teams in analyzing technological trends and developing products.
Foulkes, 46, joins Mercury with more than 20 years of engineering experience. He spent the last 17 years in a variety of engineering and management positions with Ford Motor Co. in Europe and the United States. Prior to that, he was an offshore structures engineer for Shell Exploration & Production and worked for the Ministry of Defense in the United Kingdom.
"David is recognized as a strong leader and talented engineer; his experience and background are perfect for this position," said Mercury president Patrick Mackey in a statement.
Foulkes holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautics and a master's degree in structural and fluid mechanics from Imperial College, London; and a diploma in management studies from the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.
