Taylor Made Products installs molding machine

March 2011 News

Taylor Made Products, a leading supplier of boat fenders, covers and other aftermarket accessories, recently completed the installation of a high-capacity rotational molding machine in its manufacturing facility in Gloversville, N.Y.

Company officials say the added rotational molding capacity is part of an overall strategic plan to grow through new product and category expansion. Taylor plans to produce vinyl and polyethylene fenders and dock products on the new, larger machine.

"Because of the capacity of the machine, we will look to expand our product offering to include more high-cube dock products and other new products in the near future," company president Jason Pajonk-Taylor said in a statement.

"In addition to the new product development opportunities, this new machine will give us the ability to respond to in-season demand faster and build finished goods inventory to support our customers during the critical spring and summer season," he added.
