Our editor Brady Kay recently toured Syntec's bustling facilities and came away with some great impressions. They recently announced their 30-year anniversary, and to commemorate, they shared a special interview with their president Bill Watters.

Syntec Industries, the leading provider of a diverse range of original equipment for the marine, RV, UTV, commercial trucks, manufactured and multifamily housing industries, is proud to commemorate its thirtieth year as a global leader with its most comprehensive collection of flooring, vinyl, and leather products. To celebrate their milestone, the company entertained customers and friends within the industry during the showcase of their latest products at the International Boatbuilders Exhibition Conference (IBEX.)

Headquartered in Rome, GA, Syntec Industries was established in 1986 selling carpet to the OEM marine industry. Since then, through team diversity and synergy, Syntec has lead the market in new technology and products. Today, the company provides OEM with luxury and exceeding durability requirements across numerous industries.

“Under Syntec’s roof you will find a family of people who, for the last 30 years, have dedicated themselves to unparalleled excellence and devoted teamwork. That excellence has translated into multifarious industries and developed into partnerships with recognized, international companies,” President of Syntec Bill Watters says. “Syntec has fostered a brand that I am very proud of, and I’m eager to see where our progress takes us over the coming years.”

Most recently, Syntec introduced their patent-pending Smart Wheel, which features the first wireless power system along with Bluetooth compatibility. It incorporates a myriad of performance, safety and entertainment features. Additionally, Syntec offers their award winning CoolTouch Technology, which is a forerunner in interior boat design and capable of heat reduction in exterior upholstery vinyl.

“Our proprietary cooling feature removes prior interior design restrictions allowing boatbuilders to introduce dark colors to vinyl seating,” Watters said.

Syntec’s products and partnerships with brands like Beauflor, Ultralon, Birdsong and CMI Enterprises are examples of their commitment to exceed customer’s goals and create new solutions. With a customer base that has been expanding throughout their 30 years, the company has focused on utilizing their alliance with these global companies to offer the most comprehensive line of products, like Gussi Italia’s steering wheels and dash components for the marine, UTV and commercial truck industry.

“Celebrating 30 years with a company that has paved their way to success through growing a culture rooted partnerships, cutting-edge products, and client satisfaction is absolutely wonderful,” Cindy Steele, National Sales Manager for Syntec Industries said. “However, 30 years of accomplishment is just a benchmark in our long-term aspirations. Syntec’s future is very bright.”
