Forum Member Spotlight: rickdb1

The PDB forum is a great place to discuss your boat with other like minded people. Rick aka rickdb1 works really hard to make sure the atmosphere is welcoming and easy to use. We love him!

1. What kind of boat do you currently own?
2007 Bentley 200 Cruise with a 90 HP Mercury 4 stroke

2. What is your favorite thing about it?
Lot of room and a smooth ride. Very easy to launch and load. Easy maintenance is also a plus.

3. What is your dream boat?
A triple log Pontoon in the 24 foot range with a large HP motor. Probably a 150 HP or better. Most likely a Bennington or Premier.

4. Share a fun/exciting boating memory:
Outside of having Family onboard and just cruising, I enjoyed being part of the World's Largest Pontoon Party (raft up) that took place this last summer at Lake of the Ozarks. What a blast it was to see hundreds of Pontoons in one place and meet a lot of other owners. Also had the privilege of taking a Veteran and his Family out for a half-day of cruising and fishing in honor of Troop Appreciation Day.

5. What is the must have boating accessory?
Since I added a Power Bimini top, I wouldn't be without one. Very convenient.

6. How long have you been boating?
I've been boating since 1984, when I bought my first Pontoon. Also have had several other type boats during that time in addition to the Pontoon.

7. Where do you typically boat?
Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.

8. What part of the country has the best boating?
I think Missouri can't be beat. Many lakes with excellent fishing and boating. I have about a half dozen lakes within a couple hours of my house.

9. Who would you like to nominate to be our next Forum Member Spotlight?
I think Nightfisher would be a good one.
