I’ve never been the kind of guy that likes to stand out in a
crowd. The more I can blend in the better, no exceptions. So the last thing I
want is a flashy pair of shoes that catches everyone’s attention on the dock.
Luckily Sebago engineers think like I do.
Last spring I went on the hunt for a new pair of boating
shoes. It’s my way of getting ready for the boating season, even if Mother
Nature doesn’t cooperate. At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, I found
what I was looking for with the Sebago Wave Extreme shoes.

on “ventilator mesh” or “4-way Lycra stretch collars,” because that doesn’t
mean a lot to me. I just liked the conservative look of the Black/Slate Blue
color so for $105 I placed my order.
When I got them I just had to try them out so I slipped them
on like a pair of comfy socks. They have a comfortable fit, but what I like
most about them is the sticky OctoPod outsoles that really grip a wet dock or a
vinyl deck on a boat.
