The program launches in West Marine stores nationwide this month and is designed to help customers outfit their boats with new products or replace existing equipment. With proof of purchase, boat owners who have purchased a new or used boat will receive ten percent off all boating products and five percent off electronic purchases for 30 days. Members of the New Boat Owners Program will also receive a free membership in West Marine's West Advantage Rewards Program where customers earn one point for every dollar spent, receiving a $10 dollar gift certificate for every $300 spent.

West Marine will also provide its customers with a free "Welcome Aboard" gift and a checklist to use when outfitting vessels in accordance with state and federal laws.
