DiscoverBoating.com was recently selected as an official honoree in the lifestyle category of the Webby awards.

 

The Webby Awards is an international awards program honoring excellence on the Internet, including Web sites, interactive advertising, online film and video and mobile Web sites.

 

A record 8,000 entries from all 50 states and more than 60 countries worldwide were received. The official honoree distinction is awarded to submissions that score in the top 15 percent of all work entered into the awards program.

 

Competition in the lifestyles category included Web sites for Food Network, DIY Network and Reebok's I Am What I am campaign. The winner in the category was BP Carbon Footprint Calculator created by Ogilvy and Mather Chicago.

 

The Webby Awards is presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-member body of leading Web site experts and business figures.
