2007 freshwater tournament highlights
Evinrude Angler Dustin Kjelden is the 2007 FLW walleye tour champion, winning the Lake Erie championship tournament in Cleveland, OH, September 30. This was his second FLW walleye tour win.
Team Evinrude Angler Pete Gluszek took first place at the FLW Stren Series Northern
Division on the Hudson River in Catskill, NY, September 15. Gluszek won the 2006 Lake Champlain Stren tournament and now has nine top-10 finishes in his ten-year professional fishing career.
Team Evinrude member and bass fishing legend Guido Hibdon captured first place at the
Lake Champlain FLW Series Eastern Division tournament in Plattsburgh, NY, September 5. A proud member of the team since 2001, Hibdon has been powered by Evinrude his entire career.
Team Evinrude Angler Jason Przekurat is the 2007 FLW Walleye Angler of the Year-the only professional walleye angler in the history of the sport to have twice won Angler of the Year on the Walleye Tour. Przekurat earned his AOY title with outstanding performances including winning the FLW Walleye Tour event on the Mississippi River in Red Wing, MN on May 2.
Evinrude E-TEC-powered anglers have won the Angler of the Year title for the past four
consecutive years. Evinrude Angler Andy Morgan of Dayton, Tenn. won the May 20 FLW tournament on Beaver Lake in Rogers, Ark. This was his first FLW win and eleventh top-10 finish on the tour.
Team Evinrude member and bass fishing legend Larry Nixon bagged the winner's trophy
following his third FLW Tour win at the National Guard Open in Lake Norman, N.C. on April 29.
Evinrude Angler Aaron Hastings won the season-opening FLW Tour event on Lake Travis in Austin, TX on February 18.
