Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Gaztec was established 20 years ago and has since been trading extensively around the world. In addition to boatbuilding, Gaztec specializes in marine consultancy, equipment procurement and yacht brokerage. Its boatyard in Luanda, Angola, specializes in fishing and military boats.
"With the leisure and recreation industry in the Middle East growing about 20 percent annually, Gaztec is just the representation we need," said Mike Stenberg, Dr. Shrink's president, in a statement. "The Dubai Boat Show in March is the largest in the Middle East, so we're bound to make inroads in this exciting market."
Located in Manistee, Mich., Dr. Shrink offers a line of shrinkwrap, heat tools, tapes, and other supplies for boat protection.
