J.D. Power to present awards in Miami

February 2008 News
The boat study provides an in-depth analysis of product quality, customer satisfaction and dealer sales and service. It covers 68 brands in seven boat segments, including pontoons.
The engine study asks boat owners about their on-the-water experiences with their outboard, sterndrive or inboard boat engines. The study, which includes 12 engine brands, measures quality and customer satisfaction based on a variety of engine factors, including ease of starting, acceleration, reliability and fuel consumption.
Frank Forkin, senior vice president at J.D. Power and Associates, Todd Markusic, senior director of research in the company's marine practice, and project manager Melissa Davis will announce the results and present the awards.
The presentation begins at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 14 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, room A201.
