Feds announce more boating grants

More than $12 million in competitive grants will be given by the Department of Interior to 10 states ranging from Oregon to Florida for 13 boating infrastructure projects.

The grants will help fund the construction of docks, boat slips and other facilities to support recreational boating. The money was made available through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Boating Infrastructure Grant program.
