Evinrude outboard promotion begins

BRP launched a new retail incentive promotion for its Evinrude outboard engines brand.

"Extend Your Time on the Water" offers dealers a retail incentive for fall shoppers and consumers an extended service protection plan on eligible engines.

The promotion runs through Dec. 17 and offers consumers who buy an eligible new or unused Evinrude outboard a five-year, factory-backed limited warranty (three-year BRP factory warranty and an additional two-year B.E.S.T. coverage).

Models eligible for the program are new, unused model year 2011 and earlier Evinrude ETEC engines 15-hp and higher.

"Our summer retail activity has been outperforming our sales from the same period in previous years; we want to be sure our dealers sustain that momentum," Chris Berg, director of marketing and strategic planning, said in a statement.
