PANAMA CITY BEACH - Treasure Island Marina officials have announced an expansion to the lines of boats carried at the marina.
The dealership, which currently sells Sea Ray, Boston Whaler and Parker boats, will add Southwind and Grady White vessels to their sales fleet. There are already a handful of the Southwinds at the marina with an order of Grady Whites coming in during December, said Sales Manager Mike Riggsbee.
"The Southwinds range from the low $30,000 up," Riggsbee said. "There are two versions the Sports Deck and the Hybrid Series. They have outboard motors and are extremely great out in the water."
The Hybrid Series is a combination of a pontoon boat and a runabout with the deck space of a pontoon boat and some of the performance of a runabout.
"They are very comfortable and are absolutely perfect for the Shell Island folks," Riggsbee said. "It has the flat top, speed and sea worthiness."
Treasure Island Marina will carry Southwind boats ranging from 18 feet to 25 feet.
Grady Whites, which are an upscale line of fishing and pleasure boats, will also start appearing at the marina. Treasure Island Marina will carry the center console, walkaround and dual console models.
"Grady Whites have a long-time tradition of high quality top of the line fishing boats," Riggsbee said.
The sales manager recommends that interested customers visit the marina website and the sites of the boat brands. If the dealership does not carry a specific boat it can be ordered or acquired through another dealership.
Treasure Island Marina offers brokerage, marine survey and financing services and carries boats from 13 foot runabouts to 68 foot yachts.
"We are a longtime standing marina and boat dealership in Panama City," said Riggsbee, Treasure Island Marina markets itself as the largest boat dealer in Northwest Florida.
