Manitou rolls out boater safety laws by state resource

Manitou Boats created a boating resource this week aimed at making boater safety information more accessible and the boating certification process easier to manage. The resource includes a list by state of where to locate boating safety laws, boating certification courses and exams, and boater registration information.

Because boating regulations differ from state to state, boating enthusiasts have been forced to locate the information by visiting each states' individual website. With many individuals traveling across state borders to boat and fish, Manitou Boats found it odd there was not already a comprehensive list of these laws:

"For people who own multiple boats in multiple states, or who might be moving, it can be difficult to find the right information easily. Most states do a fine job of aggregating their own information, but we wanted to make an all-encompassing, one stop resource for anyone who may need the information," says Online Marketing Manager Adam Henige.
