New Jersey dealer has to repay swindled customers

A New Jersey boat dealer has admitted swindling customers and will be required under a plea agreement to repay them about $60,000.

Todd Grossman, 46, who at one time owned Anchor Outboards on Route 9 in the Bayville section of Berkeley, N.J., told a judge that in some instances he sold boats on consignment, but did not give the proceeds to the owners. In other instances, he sold boats to customers, but did not give them the titles.
