Sheffield expands BRP coverage to Evinrude engines

June 2011 News
CLEMMONS, N.C. - Sheffield Financial has expanded its coverage of BRP powersports products to include Evinrude outboard engines, according to a release from the company.

By adding outboard engines, Sheffield, which has specialized in the powersports industry for the past 10 years, is expanding its range of financed products.

"BRP's Evinrude brand has a long history and their excellent reputation has allowed them to grow into the successful company that they are today. As an avid sportsman, I am extremely excited to have this opportunity to finance Evinrude products," Jack Snow, Sheffield Financial president, said in a statement.

In January 2011, BRP agreed to exclusively endorse Sheffield's installment financing programs for its Sea-Doo watercraft, CanAm all-terrain vehicles, side-by-side vehicles and roadsters; and Ski-Doo snowmobiles sold by its U.S. dealers. Also covered by the agreement, though not exclusively, was the Sea-Doo boat line.

"We welcome this opportunity to continue building on our strong relationship with Sheffield through the financing of our Evinrude products," said Yves Leduc, vice president and general manager of BRP's North American division. "Their slogan 'Personal service, it's that simple' is truly a commitment from Sheffield to our dealers and customers and adds a valuable lending resource option to our outboard business."
