Mercury Marine looking to hire 150 workers

FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Mercury Marine will host a job fair July 21 to fill 150 positions during the next two months at the Fond du Lac location. 

The positions start at $10 per hour, which increase to $10.50 after 90 days. 

The jobs are posted on Mercury's careers website under the "Supplemental Technician" posting. Positions are entry-level but could transition into union-supported jobs. 

The job fair will take place at the Holiday Inn in Fond du Lac from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Applicants must fill out a form, obtained on the website, and bring it to the job fair for an interview. 

Mercury Marine has hired nearly 300 new employees in 2011 and employees approximately 2,300 in Fond du Lac, according to a report by Fox 11.
