Even though 2012 is still a few months away, there's no reason why you can't start getting excited today about the new model year. Coming to a boat show near you will be the new models and significant changes that have been made by the top pontoon and deck boat manufacturers. It took some doing, but we've been able to get our hands on the releases early and we're happy to pass this information along to our readers. Included in this roundup is our annual guide on what's new for 2012.

Aloha

Aloha Pontoons offers two lines to its network of dealers that continues to grow for 2012. The Paradise Series, which features 25- and 29-foot triple tunnels, a large storage area in the center pontoon tube, courtesy lighting, a rubber floor mat and automatic bilge pump, and more, gives you all the comforts in lounge furniture and features you expect. Aloha Pontoons, headquartered in North Little Rock, Ark., has been designing and building a superior pontoon since 1960. Encore Boat Builders purchased the Bentley name from Mercury Marine in May 2009. Since then, Encore has used its established dealer network throughout the United States and Canada to expand the reach of these new Bentley Encore pontoons. According to Encore CEO Steven Deese, the company's goal is to produce quality boats at an affordable price with features and workmanship superior to other available models.

Updated for 2012, the 240CL Premium shows off new looks and optional features from stern to bow. The first thing you may notice if you see the boat after sunset are the LED courtesy floor lights, in a new ice blue color. The 203SC is 20 feet with a beam of 102 inches and is rated for up to 150 horsepower. Fuel capacity is 47 gallons and passenger capacity is 10 persons.

Boarding is made easy with the molded-in stainless steel ladder and walk-through transom. The rear entry seat flips up out of the way so you don't step on the upholstery. There is also storage under the rear entry seat for your battery and other gear.
