NMMA adds "Fred's Shed" at 2012 boat shows

December 2011 News

CHICAGO - The NMMA will be adding a hands-on training experience for boat and sportshow visitors in 2012. The new attraction, Fred's Shed, will provide showgoers with an interactive educational experience where they can gather and gain information from boating experts.

"Education and hands-on learning attractions contribute to making boat and sportshows must-attend events because we're able to help boat owners and shoppers get a better feel for the complete ownership experience," Ben Wold, executive vice president at NMMA, said in a release.

Fred's Shed is set to appearing at 10 NMMA shows in January and February of 2012, including shows in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Atlantic City, St. Louis, New England and the Miami International Show.
