Elkhart, IN - In response to tremendous sales growth in several of its brands and expanding opportunities in others, Nautic Global Group announces a restructuring of its sales force and brand leadership teams.
"Just as we responded quickly to a declining market several years ago, we are adjusting just as quickly to a market that's rebounding strongly," said Doug Sexton, Nautic Global Group's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Nautic Global Group has signed dozens of new dealers in recent months. The increasing demand for our products has allowed us to take a number of positive steps to make sure our dealer partners and consumers will be well served moving forward."
With substantial sales growth in each of the past several years, Nautic Global Group's market share has increased more than virtually any other boat manufacturer. In response, the company is dividing brand responsibilities for its Godfrey Pontoons product line and Hurricane Deck Boat product line between Bob Wachs and Andy Lindstrom, respectively. Previously, Wachs had overseen both lines. Since rejoining the company in late 2010, Lindstrom has worked in dealer development for Rinker Boats. Rinker Brand Manager Mike Kamaloski will remain in his current position.
Conrad West, who joined Nautic this past October as brand manager of the Polar Kraft and Parti Kraft product lines, has also added two industry veterans to focus exclusively on those brands. Darren Landry, who will handle the Midsouth Region, has worked in various sales-development capacities at OEM and dealership levels. Greg Bender, who will cover the Midwest Region, has a background in aluminum boat manufacturing and outboard sales.
"I'm confident the changes we are making will allow us to grow Nautic Global Group's overall business in 2013 and beyond," said Sexton. "We have many exciting challenges ahead of us, and I'm convinced that our sales and marketing team will rise to these challenges and exceed our expectations. This is a strong, performance-driven group that's all about results."
