We are proud to introduce forum member bigkahuna aka Daril! After 28 years on the force, Daril is recently retired from the Metro Transit Police in Washington D.C.
1. What kind of boat do you currently own? We have a 2004 Bennington 2275 RL I/O Tritoon. It has a 4.3L V6 MPI w/220 HP. It is off white and burgundy.
2. What is your favorite thing about it? Our favorite thing about it is that it has plenty of room and comfortable seats! Our old bowrider would comfortably sit only about 6 people. Another favorite thing about it is that it has plenty of power to pull water skiers/wake boarders.
3. What is your dream boat? I guess my dreamboat would be a fully loaded 28 ft. Q series Bennington. It's the top of the line Bennington! Absolutely gorgeous and has all the bells and whistles! As long as I didn't have to trailer it!
4. Share a fun/exciting boating memory: There are so many fun/exciting memories but we hope to make new ones at the PDB forum get together this September 6th, 7th, and 8th held at Lake Anna, Virginia.
5. What is the best thing about being a forum member? The best thing about being a forum member is being able to connect with other members across the country. If I have a problem or a solution to a problem or I want to throw my 2 cents in about a topic. I can use the forum and I can get the perspective of another member in another part of the U.S.
6. Is there a forum member you would like to nominate for the next forum member spotlight? I would like to nominate Carl Wagner. (CWAG911) He is one of our most active and longest serving forum members from Lake Norman in North Carolina.
