PDB Forum Member Spotlight Capt Sully

Published in the June 2013 Issue June 2013

Jerry Sullivan, aka Capt Sully, is our newest forum member spotlight. He's new to our forum, but he certainly exudes the pontoon lifestyle and we enjoy his input.

1. What kind of boat do you currently own?

2012 Xcursion X23C with a Yamaha 90hp four-stroke

2. What is your dream boat?

A houseboat docked at Star Island in Miami

3. How long have you been boating?

I would say all my life. My first boat was an old Coast Guard 12-foot blow-up life raft my Dad found at the Army/Navy store when I was around 8 years old. After that it's been up hill all the way. I've owned jon boats, canoes, one-man pontoon, semi V aluminum, tri-hulls, cabin cruisers, sailboats and now a pontoon to relax on.

4. Where do you typically boat?

Now it's on Lake Allatoona, which is just a 15-minute drive from my house. I also trailer to other lakes. I made a trip to Panama City, Fla., and had a great time.
