Lake Norman Pontoon Meet-UP

May 2014 Industry

Here at PDB, we like a good pontoon get together. North Carolina residents are lucky because there's one going on TODAY. Kick off the weekend and boating season with a pontoon boat ride around Lake Norman Friday, May 30th. The group is meeting at the Rusty Rudder (exit 28 off I-77) and departing promptly at 4 pm. They'll cruise over to the sandbar for swimming, flip-cup, beer pong, and possibly tie up with other boats. Then they will island hop around the lake and return to the Rudder by 8 pm.

Parking: Technically you're not supposed to park at the Rusty Rudder lot for boating, most people do; free parking is available on Henderson Ave. just before the Rusty Rudder lot. Bring your own beer/food (no glass please)

This is a paypal pre-pay event. Please paypal $10 to to reserve your spot. Space is limited to 12 people. Things to bring: beer/snacks, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses. Boat rules: No glass, no liquor bottles (NC state law), no smoking, no drugs - please take every thing you brought on the boat with you when you leave.
