So say you want to do something different for this Halloween and you either a) have a boat but don’t want to plan a big party or b) you can only wish you had a boat to plan a party on. The good news is there are many Halloween cruises orchestrated to launch on the haunted festival night! All you have to do is buy a ticket and go have fun—no stress, no cooking, no cleaning and decorating (Except for yourself. We recommend you clean and decorate yourself in an awesome costume, of course).
We’ve poked around to gather in all the marinas we can find that are hosting pontoon cruises so you’ll know what’s out there on All Hallow’s Eve. You don’t want to miss these spooky forays across moonlit water with a ‘toon full of Frankensteins, Mad Scientists, and Draculas!

Lake County Pontoon Yacht Club Halloween Pontoon Parade
402 N Bay St, Eustis, FL 32726
Sunday Oct. 26th at 1 p.m.
These ghoulishly garbed pontoons will shadow Lake Eustis' southern shore starting at 1 p.m.. The parade route is organized to pass by major restaurants on the shoreline, starting at Crazy Gator in Eustis. The parade will continue to Tavares to visit Sinbad's at 1:30, Buzzard Beach at 1:50, Palm Gardens at 2:00, and will have its finale at Hurricane Dockside Grill at about 2:15.
The audience can vote for whichever decorated pontoon struck them the most. At each of these points a representative from the Pontoon Yacht Club will have ballots to distribute and collect again. Among the voting categories are the titles "Most Spooktacular" for the best Halloween theme, "Best Costumed Crew," and the "Great Pumpkin Award" in honor of Charlie Brown.
As you unfortunately can’t ride the pontoons, you can have fun at the pontoon parade and you don’t have to pay a thing. For more details, click here or contact Bettie Nebergall at 321-594-8060 or at nebettie@live.com.
