Smaller Is Better: Prospec’s latest compact marine receiver

March 2016 Product PDB Staff

You won’t have to sacrifice dash space while listening to your favorite tunes on the water. Prospec Electronics' Milennia PRV19 Receiver is small enough to fit in a standard tachometer opening and its forte is Bluetooth audio streaming.

The Milennia PRV19 is similar to Prospec’s Milennia PRV17 while also adding a 40W-by-4 internal amplifier. This AM/FM multimedia stereo enables USB drive playback by integrating USB input. As a bonus, the Milennia PRV19 can charge devices like phones as well. This unit also incorporates auxiliary input.

The receiver is designed to be tough against harsh marine environments with its watertight faceplate and is also UV stable for extra durability. Large buttons make navigation easy. The receiver has a cut-out of 3-1/8 inches and an outer dimension of 4-1/8 inches, and retails for $149.95. (843-849-9037/www.prospecelectronics.com)
