Torqeedo, known for being a notable leader in the electric outboard motor industry, is going to debut its innovative new electric motor at this year’s Seawork International! This new generation Cruise 10.0R motor is equivalent to a 20 hp combustion engine with 12kW peak power, 10kW continuous power and a voltage level of 48V—all summing up to emission-free performance without the risk of leaking fuel.
Designed to handle rugged and extreme conditions, the Cruise 10.0R is protected from corrosion, salt-water capable, and completely waterproof. This new electric motor will be joined by Torqeedo’s award winning Deep Blue 80HP and Travel Series at Seawork International 2016.
