Let’s Go Aero Silent Hitch Pin: PDB TESTED No. 198

August 2016 PDB Tested, Product Roy Sparks

I’m guessing most truck owners would prefer a locking hitch pin, unless you live in a town where no one bothers to lock their front door because all the neighbors trust each other. But what’s better than a locking hitch pin? How about a locking Silent Hitch Pin that eliminates shock loads at the hitch connection for quiet, stable and motionless towing?

For lack of a better term, all receiver hitches have a little “slop” to them. The 5/8-inch diameter pin takes the movement out of the connection between the vehicle towing system and the device being towed.

The chrome-coated steel with heavy-duty spring nut insert and stainless washer provides corrosion-free performance. It’s simple to install and easily worth the $32.95 investment.
