To Infinity And Beyond

February 2017

What do you get with a Lowe pontoon? That’s just the question we were looking to get answered a couple months ago when we took the Infinity 250 RFL for a spin. As it turns out, Lowe has set a high standard.

Lowe built its reputation as a company on the back of its aluminum fishing boat production. The company began building boats in 1971 with a line of jon boats and canoes. By 1975 they expanded to dedicated bass boats and in 1979 introduced their line of pontoon boats. Though dated by today’s standards (and Lowe’s own current offerings), their pontoons offered a more feature-rich, easier-to-use boat than their competitors offered. In 1988 came even more innovation, as the company was acquired by OMC Corporation. In 1992 they introduced the Lowe 2200 QR Silhouette, the first aluminum deck boat, which is quite the sight to behold.

The Lowe pontoons of today owe a great deal to their forebears, and every inch of the Infinity 250 RFL bears witness to that legacy. Sturdily built with plenty of features for a variety of potential owners, this boat is designed to impress.
