Simrad Yachting, a leader in the design and manufacture of world-class marine navigation, autopilot, radar, communications and fishfinding systems, announced this week an agreement with G3 Boats to include Simrad GO XSE displays as the standard navigation system on all 2018 SunCatcher
X Series, Elite Series and Diamond Elite model pontoon boats.
Simrad GO5 XSE displays will be included on the X Series, GO7 XSE on Elite Series and GO9 XSE on Diamond Elite model pontoons.
The Simrad GO XSE series features a bright, clear display with touchscreen controls that smartphone and tablet users will find familiar. With adjustable split-screen views, customizable panel layouts and large, clearly captioned icons, GO XSE is the easiest-to-use series of full-featured chartplotters on the market.
GO XSE displays feature CHIRP sonar, a high-speed 10 Hz GPS receiver, integrated wireless connectivity, TripIntel trip-planning technology and the widest selection of cartography options on the market.
GO XSE also offers a wide array of expansion options from ForwardScan, StructureScan HD and autopilot integration/control to engine data monitoring and full SonicHub2 audio entertainment connectivity.
GO9 XSE displays also support radar and SiriusXM Marine Audio and Weather.
“Technology continues to play an important role in customer satisfaction in the pontoon market,” said Roger Bills, director of marketing for G3 Boats. “G3 Boats is proud to partner with Navico to add the outstanding performance of Simrad electronics to our SunCatcher brand of pontoon boats.”
