Encore Boat Builders, which does business as Bentley Pontoon, was sold to Bentley Acquisition LLC and will continue to build boats under the Bentley Pontoon brand.
The owners of Bentley Acquisition LLC, Dennis Marcott and Mike Scott, have both expressed excitement about the operation and say Bentley will be run as a family business with the same staff and facilities.
As always, the goal of the company remains focused on building quality boats even as they “increase production to meet current dealer demand and focus on quality, customer service, product development and dealer relationships,” as declared in a company statement.
Ryan Marcott, who has run other manufacturing companies, will be president of Bentley Pontoon and be responsible for daily operations.
“The new owners would like to thank Steve Deese, who has done a remarkable job creating and building the Bentley brand,” the company said.
