Syntec Industries is calling it the industry’s first textured PVC textile products. Revealed at last week’s International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference, Trade Only Today shares that this new flooring line, Sensations, includes customizable weave patterns, inlays, styles, and color pallets to fit a boatbuilder’s desired design.
“This is a material that looks and feels as great as it performs,” company president Bill Watters stated. “With our sizable investment in new state-of-the-art equipment, we can provide our OEM customers with limitless designs in textured woven PVC. This will certainly translate to very satisfied boat owners with more choices and added comfort on the water.”
Syntec reportedly worked eight Jacquard looms into its production facility this year for more flexibility in design options. The company said the loom equipment also allows for engineering processes that are created to ramp up comfort and cut down on stain, mold and mildew problems.
“We’re very proud to be able to bring a more diverse lineup of marine flooring to our customers…The new Sensations line broadens our offering in order to better provide our OEM customers with premium products for their brands,” Watters shared.
The Sensations line is now available in the marine market.
