First Glance
If blue isn’t your favorite color don’t worry, you can get this Aloha in any shade. From the furniture and thick rails to the tower arch, we love how the color is all tied in—and that includes the painted Yamaha on the back. This builder really did think of everything.
Details
Bulletproof is one of those over-used words, but in this case it’s hard to think of a better way to make the point that it’s extremely over-built. The thick 2-inch tubing flows well with the acrylic side panels that can be easily replaced if damaged. Cool points have to be awarded to the fiberglass helm stand that includes built-in fender storage. What we really like about this design is the access to the console wiring when removed. Brilliant!
Now back to the Electric Blue color. Because all of the furniture is built in-house the sky really is the limit on what color you’d like. And below the aluminum seat bases the inside compartments have been sprayed with a liner to help add to the durability. Speaking of storage, the in-floor ski locker is ridiculous! It’s 20 inches deep and 10 feet long and even includes a built-in bilge pump.
Other features worth noting include the Sport Arch tower that offers 9 feet of total coverage with an LED light bar on top that looks like it came off an off-road diesel pickup. It’s all controlled from the helm console that is centered on Yamaha digital gauges, a Humminbird GPS and rocker switches. The dash is well organized, but if we had to be picky it doesn’t have the same sporty vibe as the rest of the boat. Left of the steering wheel is a deep glovebox and on the other side is the Kicker stereo control, including two 800-watt power boosters that will allow you to win the sandbar music battle.
Closer Look
The strength of this triple `toon starts with 26-inch diameter pontoons that include four lifting strakes for better handling. The completely welded framework combined with the nose cone keel reinforcements show it’s built to last, and we especially like the continuous block expanded polystyrene flotation from bow to stern in each pontoon and the double hand-welded pontoon seams.
From the rear bench seat to the bow gate there is over 20 feet of usable deck space and the rail height varies from over 26 inches tall in the bow to 30 inches in the stern.
On the swim deck you’ll find a heavy-duty ski/tow bar along with a four-step boarding ladder that nearly reaches 4 feet into the water when deployed, plus a pair of yacht-like cleats that could handle a very thick rope.
Throttle Down
From the factory you can have the outboard painted to match the rest of the boat so the Yamaha 300 ties in well with the blue theme. At full throttle we nearly hit the 50 mph mark, but what really impressed us was how nimble this boat feels as we slightly banked in the tight turns. We were pleasantly surprised by the performance, especially considering its size.
Why Buy
Aloha has been building boats for 57 years and clearly understands what it takes to manufacture quality pontoons. Strength and durability is the backbone of this specific model along with a lot of unique features that are all part of the standard package.

Why we love this boat…It’s extremely over-built and solid from top to bottom, yet still glides smoothly across the water.
Just being picky…While still very functional, the dash at the helm doesn’t seem to have that same sporty look and feel that is found throughout the rest of the boat.
