Baitcaster For Finesse
In the world of bass fishing where “bait finesse” has become the latest rage and gear must be downsized without sacrificing performance, DAIWA created two new reels specific to these micro-fishing techniques: the recently unveiled PX BF70 and now its sister baitcaster, the TATULA BF70.

To achieve short casts with missile-like accuracy and to control smaller, lighter baits and lures, DAIWA injected exceptional technologies into a fantastically lightweight, palmable baitcasting reel. Requiring minimal inertia to initiate, the reels aren’t intended to hold a ton of line, but to manage a small amount with exactness.

Make a Splash
For pups that love to join their humans in the water, the Float Coat from Ruff Wear is a buoyant, secure, and reflective life jacket designed for dogs of all sizes. Crafted from PVC-free foam to comfortably support dogs in the water while promoting a natural swimming position, the Float Coat will fit snugly and stay put. With a strong handle to assist dogs out of the water, reflective screen printing for enhanced visibility, and a tucked away D-ring for leash clip-in when getting in or out of the water, it will open a new world of potential fun for you and your dog.

Bring The Fishing Gear, Not The Clutter
The only thing better than cruising with family and friends is fishing with them. Don’t miss the opportunity to drop a line because there just wasn’t enough room for the gear. The Removable Pontoon Rail Mount Rod Holder from Boat Outfitters, a division of Teak Isle Mfg., keeps gear organized and at the ready. It comes equipped with two Load-N-Lock fishing rod holders, pliers, and lure holders. The universal rail mount system installs quickly and can be removed when not in use.

Amplified Tunes
Producing a greater volume of sound to be heard across the deck and over the roar of an engine, RiverPark Marine’s new amplifier delivers rich sound and massive decibels without distortion. With options to bridge channels and fit a wide range of audio systems, including with a subwoofer, the MPro-A1006 Six-Channel Class D Amplifier has a three-year warranty, is exceptionally compact, and weighs only 6.6 pounds. It can be mounted virtually anywhere on board and has three waterproof pigtail speaker connectors for simple installation.

Restore Your ‘Toon’s Natural Shine
Over time, aluminum pontoons turn dull and dirty, making the entire boat appear old and tired. Pontoon Polish from Iosso Products is the easy way to remove oxidation, dirt, mold, algae and waterline scum from the tubes and bring back their natural sparkle and shine.

Devoid of harsh acids or chemicals, the concentrated formula quickly cuts through oxidation, tarnish, and water spots to leave a brilliant protective coating that resists algae formation. The formula is easy to apply by hand or with an electric buffer.

Standout Eyewear
With colors and patterns that embody the spirit of the sea, the three new additions to Costa’s Del Mar lifestyle collection of sunglasses are designed for days by the water. Built with meticulous attention to detail, each of the Keramas, Nusa, and Ulu frames have a custom corewire and laser-etched wave pattern at the temples, sleek logo placement under resin, and premium five-barrel hinges. Costa’s mineral glass lenses are scratch resistant and water repellent with polarized, color-enhancing lenses to block glare and to boost color and contrast.

Long-Lasting Power
Designed to deliver power, reliability, and performance, two new ORANGETOP lithium batteries from Optima are ideal for a variety of marine applications. The DC150 is a deep-cycle battery with a 150Ah capacity for trolling motors, while the DP120 is a dual-purpose battery for engine-starting and deep-cycle applications with 1,200A of cranking power and a 120Ah capacity.

Delivering high capacity and long life in harsh conditions, both batteries utilize QUAD terminals for a wider array of fitments, a simplified installation, and Bluetooth capability with NMEA 2000 to view battery function and status directly on boat display screens.

Variety Cruise Competition
In an effort to unify boaters all over the planet, international organization PolyboatGlobal is hosting a year-long contest for pontoon owners to go on a variety of cruises from now until March 2025. Have you always used your pontoon only for watersports or fishing with your family? Maybe it’s time you tried something new. From educational trips, gourmet cruises, weddings, music celebrations, charity fundraisers, and wellness meditations, all kinds of pontoon cruises count towards the contest. Crew and passengers may be different on each cruise, as the winner will be listed under the boat’s name on the first ever PolyBoatGlobal trophy.
