Pontoon picnic a Buffalo Bayou Partnership urban (and edible) outing

Buffalo Bayou Partnership's pontoon tour boat will host a moveable (as in floating) picnic featuring food from the new downtown Café Luz.

The pontoon picnic, which also serves up urban views along its route, is offered 6:30-8 p.m. Sept. 15, departing from Sabine Promenade Boat launch, 150 Sabine St.

On the menu: local charcuterie, pickled seasonal vegetables and mini-pies, plus local libations.

Buffalo Bayou Partnership is the non-profit organization revitalizing and transforming Buffalo Bayou, Houston's most significant natural resource.
