IMBC launches smartphone app for conference

January 2012 News

WARREN, R.I. - The International Marina & Boatyard Conference has updated its free mobile app for its 2012 conference. The IMBC Conference App is available for download in the iTunes App Store and Android Marketplace, and for download for Blackberry and Windows Mobile on the IMBC Phone App website.

The IMBC app provides attendees with schedules, a list of exhibitors and sponsors, hotel information, local area guidance and conference alerts. AMI President and Chair Jim Frye said that the association is proud to offer the app again after the success it had last year.

"The phone app was a huge success last year with over 800 downloads," Frye said in a release. "It's clear that the app is an effective way to provide important information to participants."
