Nautic Global Group CEO shares his vision

December 2013 News Web Exclusive

Back in October, we shared with you that Nautic Global Group had brought on James Malone as their new CEO. Now that he's started, key media and dealers were brought out to the plant to hear his vision for the company. Our own editor, Brady Kay, was invited to attend.

This event was moderated by Marine Retailers Association of the Americas president Matt Gruhn.

"These are exciting times in the marine industry and for Nautic Global Group," said Malone. "With one of the strongest dealer networks, a perfectly positioned stable of brands and a team of motivated and experienced boatbuilders, we have a new vision and a renewed sense of optimism. I'm anxious to share this vision with our dealers and show them our plans for expansion, improved efficiencies and ultimately for increasing our collective profitability."

Among the topics on the agenda were the company's operational expansion plans, investments in quality control improvements, product development and a discussion about the leadership team in place and their collective vision and priorities.

Malone is looking to provide security to the company by promoting growth, profitability and fun.
