Years ago when Yamaha first debuted its Helm Master control system, I lined up on the dock with the other marine journalists at the Yamaha test facility in Alabama with great anticipation to be one of the first to try it out. Back then the thought of using a joystick with twin outboards to perfectly control your boat seemed too futuristic to really be possible.
