Part of my job here at PDB is to peruse the Internet. Nobody ever actually gave me this assignment. I took it on without being asked because I’m amazeballs like that.
Today, as I was going through cat boating memes for fun, I mean work, I ran across something that made me stop and take a second look.
No, it wasn’t a kitten trying to eat a “chezburger” even though that is adorable.
What I saw happened to be more work related. It was a pontoon like I’d never seen a pontoon before. At first, I thought it was a pontoon built exclusively for George Jetson but it’s not. It’s a modern-day design with an extremely futuristic look which is all the rage right now, in my opinion. I love the sleek lines and the extra added touches.
This boat is a design by Christopher D. Williams who set out to build the ultimate party pontoon using sustainable materials. This ‘toon features integrated solar panels on the roof which move up and down to follow the direction of the sun throughout the day. This boat design also includes foldable fabric that spreads over the deck to protect riders from direct heat of the sun and allow for privacy. The actual materials incorporated into the boat design are top of the line and this boat would be built to last.
The pontoon design has all the perks, including a waterslide off the stern of the boat and an integrated shower. It also includes a large toy bin and a water trampoline so the little ones will be constantly entertained. But when it’s time for them to go to bed, this boat doubles as party boat with a ton of amenities for adults.
