Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing encourages more female anglers

Women can learn, then fish for bass at Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing Bass Seminar, March 1 at Bass Pro Shops, Dania Beach, FL.

The freshwater event on March 1 offers classes, hands-on practice and fishing for bass on a private lake from 9 am to 3 pm with tackle provided. Registration is $99 Early Entry, $199 Regular rate then $129 the week of the event. Bass Pro Shops is located at 200 Gulf Stream Way, Dania Beach, FL 33004.

Featured on national network television and more, the series is supported by major partners including Recreational Fishing and Boating Foundation, Take Me Fishing, Vamos a Pescar, Mercury, Magic Tilt trailers, Shearwater Boats, Power-Pole, Penn, Lowrance, Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida and Fish Florida. The second LLGF event in Fort Lauderdale is an offshore fishing seminar with fishing will be April 11-13 at the Florida Association of Nonprofits, with optional offshore fishing.

About “Ladies, Let's Go Fishing!"
The Ladies, Let's Go Fishing Foundation (LLGF) is a nonprofit 501C3 organization dedicated to attracting women and families to fishing while encouraging conservation and responsible angling. Known as the "No-Yelling School of Fishing," LLGF conducts weekend, immersion-based educational programs in multiple regions of Florida with classroom presentations, hands-on practice, networking and an option to fish from boats or land, depending on the venue. No equipment or experience is necessary. The organization also offers fishing experiences, Virtual meetings and international trips. Women now represent 37 percent of the nation’s anglers.

Founded in 1997 by Betty Bauman of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, LLGF has over 9,000 graduates from around the country, representing the largest organization of its kind.
