"Yamaha is adding a high level of support at the retail level during boat-show season," said Phil Dyskow, Yamaha Marine Group president, in a statement.
The first promotion, Repower Now, offers two options. Consumers can choose "Zero Zero" financing, which means no interest and no payment until Jan. 1, 2010, on approved credit. Or customers can receive a credit toward the purchase of Yamaha rigging components and/or dealer installation services.
The second promotion "Two Ways to Save," offers either a 36-month Yamaha Extended Service contract for eligible outboards or a credit toward goods and/or services at the authorized participating dealer that sold the outboard.
In other news, Yamaha Motor Corp. USA signed a new seven-year contract with HSBC Finance Corp.'s card and retail services business, extending its relationship through 2015.
HSBC provides revolving financing through the Yamaha Card program for customers who purchase Yamaha outboards, motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, side-by-side utility vehicles, snowmobiles, PWC, boats, golf cars, generators, accessories and apparel.
