Mirror Design Improves Vision And Safety

Published in the July 2012 Issue July 2012 Ask The Expert

Boaters with a water skier or wake boarder behind them can now keep an eye on them without having to look away from where they're headed, thanks to a new mirror developed by PTMEdge/Protomet. It's a leap forward in safety that boaters have wanted for years. The View4rce VR140 represents the culmination of a five-year effort to design the perfect mirror. The patent-pending mirror allows the boat driver to follow a skier or wake boarder from port to starboard inside one uninterrupted high definition mirror. It won a 2011 Innovation and Best Product of the year award, while garnering rave reviews from skiing and wake boarding professionals. (www.ptmedge.com)
