David and Veronica Bohannon, Austin, Texas. Bought the boat at Tracker Boat Center in Austin, Texas.
Why They Love This Boat
• Color of the boat matched the truck
• Bimini top to keep the sun off came standard
• Easy to steer and drives nice
• Plenty of room for lots of people
What They Are Being Picky About
The stock trailer came with plastic hub caps and they continuously fall off. It cost about $35 to put on mag hubcaps and I wish I would have looked closer while I was at the dealership, but I was excited about the boat. There is nothing about the boat itself that I would change.
Final Thoughts
We have taken the boat out about ten times now and we love it. The grandkids love it more I think. It’s always good to be the Pa Pa with the boat. We live in the Austin, Texas area and purchased are boat from a local Tracker Boat dealer off highway 183.
We really like the boat. It’s large enough and with the V8, it’s easy to tow around. But it’s still 23 feet, so you have to be careful and I wouldn’t pull it around with a smaller truck than I currently own. Because we trailer the boat, we tow it to all different lakes around Texas. We like to head up to Lake Livingston, Lake Tahoe, Lake Houston, Lake Buchanan or Travis Lake.
We have been around boats for years but this is our first deck boat. Unlike other boats we have owned over the years, this one is fast enough to get around in. It’s very easy to cross the lake quickly. We added an optional fish finder but other than that, we liked the boat how it was and kept everything else standard. I am going to have to buy new wheels for the trailer because I plan on being on the water a lot this year.
