Sideshift, the maker of the revolutionary PT230 retractable bow thruster, has reached an agreement to partner with Princecraft Pontoons. The PT230 will be offered as an available option on all 2017 Vogue series pontoon boats. We’ve extolled the virtues of the PT230 before, but suffice it to say that it pretty much removes the stress from docking a pontoon. If you have a docking situation that’s a tight fit, you know how tricky it can be to get it into the right position. With the press of a button at the helm, the thruster drops into position and is quickly available to guide you in any direction. One of the coolest features is a wireless remote control, which allows your first mate to make minute adjustments while on the dock, to ensure a safe and secure docking experience.
The partnership with Princecraft will only open the possibilities for Sideshift further. Jean-Philippe Martin-Dubois, the director of marketing with Princecraft Boats, says, “At Princecraft, we are always looking for ways to improve our customer's experience on the water. The PT230 is all about reducing the stress of docking, and we're excited to be working with Sideshift to bring this innovative new feature to our Vogue series customers.”
Sideshift’s CEO, Rob Griffin, says of the partnership, “The PT230 retractable thruster continues to offer pontoon boaters the ultimate solution for stress-free docking control. Partnering with Princecraft is a great opportunity for us to work with an industry leader known for their outstanding product quality and innovation.”
Sideshift introduced the first externally-mounted bow thruster in the marine industry in 2001. Since that time, their customer base has grown into the thousands across more than forty countries. This partnership will give Princecraft customers an option not currently available with other manufacturers.
