Forest River Marine is giving its pontoons a cutting-edge makeover! This company partnered with Vixen Composites to create V-Lite Performance Decking, a lighter, longer-lasting alternative to traditional plywood.
This entirely synthetic decking is waterproof, bugproof, and formaldehyde-free with an impressively high strength-to-weight ratio. This means no more rotting, mildewing, swelling, or attacks from pests like termites or ants. V-Lite is also up to 50 percent lighter than plywood, lending these pontoons increased performance and fuel efficiency. The decking is even seamless, with each floor made from a single piece.
