First Impression
Even on an entry-level model you'll find the same high-quality construction and craftsmanship Barletta is known for. It's in their DNA to produce well-built boats and load them up with features, regardless of the price point.
Highlights
Starting at the helm, the console is centered on two multi-function analog gauges with a Lowrance Hook 5 map offset to the right. Below is a row of rocker switches, and a place to hold your phone with a USB port nearby. At the helm you'll also find the controls to the Hertz sound system that includes four speakers. The speakers are recessed into the cutouts in the bow and stern seats, so they're angled high and project the sound better. We strongly feel every boat should have a locking glove box, and we were thrilled to see even this price-point pontoon has one at the helm. Another feature you don't expect to find on an entry-level model is a power Bimini top, with controls conveniently located at the helm.
The helm chair for the captain slides, swivels, and reclines, and is identical to the co-captain chair one directly across from it. For your first mate, there is a second cell phone holder that is also next to a USB port. The pontoon is rated for up to 12 people, and while these two helm chairs will be the most popular, there are still plenty of other comfortable seats on board. The bow and stern seating configuration is symmetrical with each end having two chaise lounges, recessed “Yeti-Ready” cupholders, and additional USB ports. Outside the stern gate is a stainless ski/tow bar along with a stainless four-step boarding ladder.
Worth noting, other than the upgraded Lowrance Hook 5 GPS and in-floor ski locker, all the other features are part of the long list of standards. This includes the integrated pet food/water dishes built into the side of the helmstand, as well as the bow and port gates with Doggie-Dock View see-through acrylic panels.
Closer Look
Also included as standard features are the three 25-inch diameter pontoon tubes that are connected to the 3/4-inch marine decking with a combination box/I-beam and C-channel hybrid cross-member configuration. The V.I.P. Technology (Vibration Isolation Pad) helps ensure a smooth ride and overall the undercarriage earned high marks for its quality construction. Up top there is nearly 19 feet of usable space inside the gates with the rail height being 26 inches tall around the perimeter for a safe and family-friendly design.
Throttle Down
We love the pairing of the Mercury 150hp FourStroke with this Aria. At full throttle we reached a top speed in the mid 30s, with a zero-to-20 mph time of 4.5 seconds. She handles well and is highly responsive in the turns.
Why Buy
The only thing entry-level on this Aria just might be the price. Yes, the helm console and furniture is simpler than higher-end models, but it's truly impressive how many standard features are included that would be typically found on much higher priced boats or considered options. Barletta packaged this model with high-end amenities while keeping it at a budget-friendly price. This will eliminate the guesswork in the shopping process for first-time buyers looking to get out on the water.

Why we love this boat...Power Bimini top, USB charging ports throughout the boat, see-through gates, LED lighting the list of standards goes on and on, which is amazing for an entry-level model.
Just being picky...There's barely enough room on the rear swimdeck to towel off after using the boarding ladder. Since it's a little tight, we wish there was slightly more space outside the stern gate.
