Avalon Sandbar

Published in the August 2009 Issue August 2009

For 2009, Avalon introduces the all-new, revolutionary 26-foot Sandbar model. This model was developed to answer the call for a boat the family can park at any sand bar or group gathering and use as a lakefront patio and activity center. Its unique design allows for outboard power on a boat that has an umbrella-covered dinette at the bow, and at the stern is a complete activity center with two reclining chairs with footrests. The rear area is open to the water with no restrictive gates. From the recliners the users have access to a unique rear entertainment console. This gives them control of a remote stereo pad, MP3 plug, 12-volt outlet, pull-out cooler, cup holders and a bolstered rear bar top. Two rear ladders allow access to the rear patio from either side. The Sandbar also features a wine rack, bottle storage and sink. And finally, the Sandbar features a 20-foot flag pole so the family can stake their piece of lakefront with the flag of their choice. This boat is truly a great choice for families looking to park the boat and enjoy the water for a day.
