Normally, you have to drive around town in your car to see Christmas lights and festive displays. But on a river in New Mexico, you can find holiday cheer by taking a boat cruise down the Pecos River.
For the last 33 years, Christmas on the Pecos has offered magical boat tours and festive train rides along the Pecos River, illuminated by dazzling light displays. Boat tours are offered from November 29 through December 31.
Merry-makers can bundle up and enjoy this 40-minute experience as they travel past captivating islands, boat docks, and backyards illuminated by fantastic themes like Santa’s Workshop, Southwest deserts, and more. It’s truly a unique way to enjoy Christmas on the water.
