Honda Marine and Coach Pontoons Are Now Partners

The PDB team has breaking news! While we were at the 2015 Miami International Boat Show, Honda Marine announced their new exclusive OEM agreement with Coach Pontoons!

A new pontoon manufacturer and subsidiary of Coach Marine Group, LLC, Coach Pontoons offers a full range of models for dealers and distributors throughout North America.

Honda Marine will now supply this Iowa-based company with outboard engine models from the Mid-Range BF Series and High Power BF Series as original equipment for all their pontoon models.

Mark DiPietro, the senior manager of Honda Marine, says, “Our partnership with a dynamic new company like Coach Pontoons affords Honda Marine the opportunity to reinforce its presence in the popular pontoon segment of the recreational boating market.”

The President of Coach Pontoons, Chris Riddle, says, “With more than 90 million adults participating in recreational boating in the U.S. alone, it was imperative for Coach Pontoons to enter the marketplace with a highly respected OEM marine engine provider.”
