Yamaha Extends “Reliable Choice Sales Event”

April 2020 News

Yamaha Marine is announcing the continuation of its “Reliable Choice Sales Event” outboard retail promotion through April 30, 2020, to give consumers additional opportunities to save.

“The disruption in the market caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus made it harder for customers to take advantage of the ‘Reliable Choice Sales Event’ outboard retail promotion during March,” said Dale Barnes, Division Manager, Marketing, Yamaha U.S. Marine Engine Systems. “With this extension, customers now have until the end of April to benefit from the extra protection and dealer credit incentives offered through the promotion.”

For a limited time, Yamaha Marine’s “Reliable Choice Sales Event” outboard retail promotion allows customers who purchase eligible, new Yamaha four-stroke outboards in the 2.5- to 300-horsepower range the choice of either a dealer credit of up to $1,500 based on MSRP, or the opportunity to add two years of Yamaha Extended Service (Y.E.S.) to their three-year Yamaha Limited Warranty for a total of five years of coverage at no additional cost.

In addition, customers who purchase eligible, new Yamaha 350-horsepower outboards also have the choice of either a dealer credit of up to $1,500 based on MSRP, or the opportunity to add one year of Y.E.S. coverage to their five-year Yamaha Limited Warranty for a total of six years of coverage at no additional cost. Additional terms and conditions apply.

Yamaha’s “Reliable Choice Sales Event” outboard retail promotion is effective for eligible, new Yamaha four-stroke outboards* purchased and warranty registered between January 1, 2020, and April 30, 2020.

Consumers should see authorized, participating Yamaha outboard dealers for a complete list of eligible outboards and all terms and conditions.
