TACO Metals has been acquired by Patrick Industries, according to an announcement from Mike Kushner, the sales and marketing vice president at TACO.
“Recently, my brothers, Jon, Bill and I began planning a succession strategy. It was extremely important to us that the legacy our father created, continued to be passed on to ensure TACO remains well positioned to thrive for many more years to come,” said Kushner in a statement. “After a thorough search, we are extremely pleased to announce that as of today, TACO has become part of Patrick Industries. We believe Patrick is an excellent fit for TACO as they share in our values, culture and vision and want to see them continue unchanged.”
As a family run business founded in 1959, TACO Metals’ foundation has been built upon strong family values and Kushner credits the growth and success the manufacturer has achieved over all these years has been a direct result of the long-term, trusted relationships established amongst our team members, customers and suppliers.
Kushner and his brothers plan to remain on and continue to lead TACO just as they have been. As a result, there will be no changes in its management or operations.
“We wanted to share this news with you right away and let you know how excited we are about the long-term opportunities this presents,” added Kushner. “As a recognized leader in the Recreational Vehicle and Marine industries, Patrick brings all the necessary resources to support TACO’s continued growth strategy and promise to deliver Innovation, Quality & Service.”
